Forza Horizon 5

Four locations are boring; but what about 8? What about the whole map?

revision 0.0.4   /   2023/July/22

TL;DR:

1) follow SIGNS
2a) play starts only after you drive under the CYAN ARCHWAY / through the CYAN FLAGS (relocated games)

-or-

2b) play starts as soon as you leave the standard arena the first time (open-world games)
3a) stay within the RED FLAG boundary (relocated games
)

-or-

3b) beware of obstacles, surprises, helpful points of interest, fortress locations, and (entire map games only)

4) have fun and be a good sport!

#beyond4 is the [ToW] team project of having additional locations for Playground Games. There are two types: relocated games, and open-world games.

Relocated games, like Guanajuato, Mulege, Playa Azul and La Gran Caldera (LGC made by [$TNG]) start off at a standard play area and the player must exit the area and follow signs indicating where the game will occur. While following the signs, DO NOT ATTACK target players. Only after a player has entered the play area, marked by a CYAN ARCHWAY/FLAGS, with the entire play area boundary limits marked with RED FLAGS, has that player 'began play'. For team king mode, pass the crown among your team members before you reach the CYAN ARCHWAY/FLAGS.

Open-world games are a bit different: follow SIGNS, pass PINK WALL, begin. However, these events have some things to watch for:

Marked by a general search area on the map, these can be anything from a traffic incident, a trap set for hiding players, or even a useful position to communicate information to your teammates. These items are not partisan, so either team can find, learn, get stuck, attack using, chase into, or lure another player into one of these items. These items vary from map to map (so a POI found when you start from Aerodromo will not exist during a map started from El Estadio, for example). These items change over time and thus what you find this month may be gone the next.

Flags are markers during an open-world gamered flags mark road closures, orange flags indicate warning/caution, cyan flags are used to show a point-of-interest. Pink and blue flags do not currently serve a purpose, and are not in play.
